Sundiata started to wear a heart in 2020 when he began to care for his father who had cancer. He would wear the heart on the right side to metaphorically mean “Love with your right Heart”. For him, it was a reminder to show care and compassion…to wear one’s heart on their sleeve.

To wear one’s heart on their sleeves means to be vulnerable.

Sundiata’s father lost his battle to cancer in the Summer of 2021.
